Tag Day for the Annandale High School bands is happening next weekend, and the Band Boosters and student musicians hope the community will be generous.
Band members wearing the Marching Atoms uniform will be knocking on doors and playing at local grocery stores Sept. 9 and 10 to raise money for instruments, uniforms, sound equipment, competition fees, and additional instructors – expenses not covered by the Fairfax County Public Schools budget.
You can also support the Marching Atoms by cheering them on as they perform their half-time show, “All We Need is Love,” at home football games. The next home game is Oct. 6, 7 p.m.
