With Loehmann’s long gone from Loehmann’s Plaza – the discount clothing company went out of business last January – Federal Realty Investment Trust, the owner of the shopping center on Route 50 in Falls Church, is changing its name from Loehmann’s Plaza to “Graham Park Plaza.”
According to a Sept. 16 press release, new signage will be installed in October. The release says Federal Realty worked with the Broyhill Park Civic Association to solicit community input on a new name. Graham Park was selected because the shopping center is between Graham Road and Parkwood Court. Last May, Stein Mart moved into the space vacated by Loehmann’s.
