Annandale Treasure Trove closes permanently

The Treasure Trove consignment shop in the Annandale Shopping Center on Columbia Pike has closed permanently, Inova announced Nov. 4. 

The challenge of responding to the COVID-19 pandemic, which led to the temporary closing of the three Treasure Trove stores run by Inova, meant “our charitable dollars, supported by your generous purchases, donations, and consignments, have been significantly impacted,” states an email to customers.  

The Treasure Trove carried one-of-a-kind household decor items, as well as clothes, accessories, books, and much more.

As a result, Inova has decided to not reopen the Annandale store. The two other Treasure Trove shops, in McLean and Springfield, remain open with limited hours. 

Anyone who had consigned merchandise at the Annandale Treasure Trove on or after Feb. 13, 2020, can make an appointment to pick up their items. To schedule a curbside pickup, call 703-256-7712 on Wednesday, Nov. 11, or Wednesday, Nov. 18. Consignment checks have been issued and mailed. 

Appointments for pickup are available 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on Nov. 11, 12, 13, 18, 19, and 20.
