The average price of homes sold in Annandale (zip code 22003) in August was $441,435, a 0.63 percent decline over August 2012, according to data from Real Estate Business Intelligence provided by Annandale realtor Vivianne Couts, of the Couts Group with Coldwell Banker.
The median price of homes sold in August 2013 was $433,200, down 2.1 percent from the same month last year.
More units were sold in August 2013, 62, compared to just 50 in August 2012. Of the units sold last month, 32 were detached single-family houses (the same amount sold a year ago), and 30 were attached (compared to 18 in 2012).
The average home took 28 days to sell last month, which is unchanged from a year ago. There are fewer active listings, 102 in August 2013, compared to 111 in August 2012.
