Officers encountered a drunk, shirtless man walking in the road and “not responding appropriately” at about 11:14 p.m. They arrested Norlin Arguetea-Diaz, 24, of Annandale, for being drunk in public.
Argueta-Diaz then assaulted an officer and kicked the cruiser door and window. Two other officers were assaulted while trying to restrain him. Argueta-Diaz was taken to a hospital, and warrants were obtained for three counts of assault on a law enforcement officer, drunk in public, and a pedestrian violation.
A man walking in the 6024 block of Vista Drive in Bailey’s Crossroads shortly after 2:30 a.m. on Aug. 4 was approached by four men who assaulted him with a baseball bat, took his wallet, and ran away. One suspect is described as Hispanic in his late teens wearing a red hooded sweatshirt.
