The Fairfax County Republican Committee selected Bryan Wolfe, a retired police officer, as candidate for Sheriff of Fairfax County Aug. 13.
Wolfe, a resident of Clifton, has served as a officer with the City of Fairfax Police Department for 26 years and was named Policeman of the Year twice. Before that, he spent four years in the U.S. Air Force.
He faces Democratic candidate Stacey Kincaid Nov. 5. Kincaid has served in various capacities in the Fairfax County Sheriff’s Office since 1987.
