| Chico's offers natural, healthy food for pets. |
Celebrate the last dog days of summer at an ice cream social at Chico’s Natural Pet Market in Barcroft Plaza Sunday, Sept. 3, 1-4 p.m.
Bring your dog, as there will be fee frozen treats for dogs, as well as free ice cream and gift bags for people. Chico’s is also hosting a silent auction and a raffle with prizes to benefit the Fancy Cats Rescue Team.
Chico’s is a sponsor of the Taste of Annandale and is planning a special event, such as a best-dressed dog contest, at the community festival on Oct. 14. Details to come.

Here's another reason to bring your dog to Chico’s Ice Cream Parlor: Take a picture of your dog at at the event and post it on social media with the hashtag #chicosiceream2017 and tag your friends and @chicospetmarket on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. The photo with the most likes will win a $50 gift card.
Despite the construction at Barcroft Plaza, which is undergoing a façade upgrade, all the stores are open. “The construction is not going to stop us from having a doggone good time,” says Chico’s owner, Danielle Areco.
Chico’s Natural Pet Market, which celebrated its reopening as an independent store, July 29, sells all-natural pet food, dog and cat beds, fish, and supplies for all types of pets. The store also offers pet grooming and partners with Fancy Cats to house rescue cats available for adoption or fostering.
