“Just prior to Braddock Road, the other motorist pulled to the driver side of the victim’s car and suddenly the passenger window shattered. The victim then noticed blood on one of his fingers,” FCPD reports.
The victim exited the beltway on the Braddock Road exit and pulled into the Ravensworth Shell station at Ravensworth Shopping Center to wait for police to respond. The victim was treated on the scene for minor injuries, possibly from broken glass.
“There is no threat to public safety,” the FCPD states. Police later located and interviewed the other driver, a 25-year-old man driving a white Chevy Tax, but did not find a weapon. No charges have been placed. The investigation is ongoing.
