Rakesh K. Kapoor, 54, of Manassas, was charged with obtaining money by false pretenses, a felony, the police blotter reports.
He was transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center where a warrant was served.
According to FCPD spokesperson Roger Henriquez, Kapoor was accepting cash from customers paying fees to the DCC and keeping the money. The DCC does not accept cash payments. Henriquez declined to say how much money was involved or how long this had been going n.
