Yummy Kabob opens in Annandale

There’s a new place for Middle Eastern cuisine in Annandale: Yummy Kabob opened last week at 3340 Gallows Road, just outside the beltway. It’s open for lunch and dinner, 11 a.m.-9 p.m.

Menu highlights include beef or chicken shawarma platters with basmati rice, fattoush, yogurt sauce, and bread ($10.95); chicken kabobs ($10.95); salmon or shrimp kabobs ($14.95); falafel sandwich ($7); the Yummy Salad with mixed greens, goat cheese, grape tomatoes, Kalamata olives, and pomegranate vinaigrette ($5 or $8); stewed lentils or chickpeas ($4); vegetarian or meat somosas ($5.75); and baklava ($3).
