Quinn |
Quinn is currently in charge of security and operations for the WPFG, which are expected to draw 12,000 athletes from 70 countries. There will be more than 60 separate competitions at venues all over the region.
Quinn has served in various positions with the FCPD since he joined the force in 1997. Before his current assignment, he worked with the Washington Metropolitan Transportation Authority on opening Metro’s Silver Line and served as commander of the School Resource Officer program, where he conducted suicide awareness training.
Smith, who’s only been station commander since January 2014, is being reassigned to the FCPD’s Major Crimes Division. The previous Mason commander, Capt. Carol Wilhite, only served for about eight months.
