Taste of Annandale opens with 5K 'Diamond Dash'

The 5K Fun Run, the opening activity of the Taste of Annandale June 13, is called the “Diamond Dash” for a special reason: Two runners will receive a half-carat diamond prize.
The Diamond Dash will start and end at the Annandale United Methodist Church, 6935 Columbia Pike. Registration begins in front of the church at 7:45 a.m. Stretching exercises start at 8:30, and the Fun Run begins at 8:45.
