Two of the forums are in the Annandale area: June 24, 10 a.m.-noon, at Luther Jackson Middle School in Falls Church, and July 11, 9-11 a.m., at Ravensworth Baptist Church in Annandale. Register online or call 703/324-5411.
After the forums, the Commission on Aging will develop a new 50+ Action Plan.
Meanwhile, several communities are developing their own support systems to help older people stay in their homes. The group also organizes social activities and provides a list of vetted home repair venders.
